An Indian Sikh woman, Sarabjeet Kaur, who went missing during a visit to Pakistan on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev's Prakash Parv, has reportedly converted to Islam and married a man in Pakistan. A copy of her 'nikahnama' (Islamic marriage contract) in Urdu has surfaced.

The document mentions that Sarabjeet Kaur, a resident of Punjab’s Kapurthala married Nasir Hussain, a resident of Sheikhupura, near Lahore, after converting to Islam and adopting the name "Noor."

Kaur, along with other Sikh pilgrims, had crossed the Wagah-Attari border into Pakistan on November 4 as part of a bilateral agreement allowing religious visits.
