Weather conditions swept in by Storm Claudia may have calmed down but the region is still feeling the impact. A number of flood warnings and lesser flood warnings are still in place across Coventry and Warwickshire this morning (Saturday 15).
The Environment Agency issues the warnings to make people aware if they need to take action. Storm Claudia caused travel chaos yesterday (Friday 14) with trains cancelled and roads flooded.
A ‘do not travel’ warning was issued by West Midlands Railway and Birmingham New Street last night with Network Rail warning that Storm Claudia was causing disruption across ‘multiple routes’.
