Developing a game with a map size comparable to “the size of the earth” is pretty extreme but it seems as though that is what the makers of No Man’s Sky have planned in a future release.

Best known for creating the hit action-adventure survival game No Man’s Sky, it seems as though developer Hello Games has turned its attention to the future.

First announced back in 2023 alongside a teaser trailer, the creators of No Man’s Sky announced that its next project would be another open-world survival game but this time, it would take place on a planet “the size of the earth.”

I’m not sure about you, but this sounds pretty impressive but with No Man’s Sky now being widely regarded as one of the most ambitious sci-fi games of all time, if anybody could pull it off, it's Hello Games.
