New York is down to 24 girls soccer teams (four in each class), and that group will be trimmed in half after the state semifinals.

The state semifinals are on Saturday, Nov. 15, and the finals are on Sunday, Nov. 16. All games are in the Cortland area. Tickets are $13.60.

Four Section III teams will try to punch their tickets to the championship game. Cicero-North Syracuse (AAA), New Hartford (Class A), Marcellus (B) and Cincinnatus (D) all won sectional and regional titles.
