The Delhi High Court on Friday pressed both sides to keep tempers in check while hearing Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor's children battle their stepmother, Priya Sachdev Kapur, over late industrialist Sunjay Kapur’s estate . The judge stepped in after the actress's daughter flagged two months of unpaid college fees in the US, prompting a sharp exchange between the lawyers.
"I don't want to spend more than 30 seconds on this. This question should not come to my court again. I don't want this hearing to be melodramatic. I put this onus on you [Priya's counsel]. This point should not come again," Bar and Bench quoted Justice Jyoti Singh as saying.
Senior Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, for the two children, argued that the responsibility for educational expenses flowed directly from the mat
