LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Traffic on southbound I-71 was shut down Friday night near mile marker 0.5 after a pickup truck overturned in a crash involving a semi, according to Louisville Metro Emergency Services.
The collision happened just before Spaghetti Junction around 8:45 p.m., blocking all lanes as well as both shoulders. Officials said early reports indicate at least one minor injury.
Crews expect the closure to last about an hour while the scene is cleared.
All drivers are advised to avoid this area and should seek alternate routes.
