A Fayetteville State University alumnus has been hired as the university's new chief of police.
Damon D. Williams will begin his new duty Dec. 8, serving as chief of police and associate vice chancellor for Police and Public Safety for Fayetteville State University, according to a Nov. 13 news release from the university.
