A content writer’s resignation email has gone viral on Reddit after he claimed he walked out of his job due to disrespectful remarks from his Head of Department (HOD). The employee, who had been with the company for five months, shared screenshots of the email titled “Putting an end to my honeymoon period." His post has sparked a wider conversation about toxic work culture in Indian offices.

In his email, the employee wrote, “I never thought I’d have to write this so soon, but here we are. A wise man here thinks I’ve been on a honeymoon period since I joined."

According to his post, the comment came after months of long hours, extra tasks and managing nearly double the workload expected of him.
