Srinagar, Nov 15: President of the Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (PDF), Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic explosion at Nowgam Police Station and extended heartfelt solidarity to all families affected by the incident.

Calling the loss of lives “a painful moment for the entire Kashmir region,” he appreciated the swift response of rescue teams and medical staff who acted promptly to save lives and provide immediate care to the injured.

Hakeem Yaseen said that while the incident is regrettable, it must serve as an opportunity to strengthen safety mechanisms further and enhance preparedness across all institutions handling sensitive material.
