Marcus Wimberley III, one of 10 individuals accused of attempting to engage in prostitution with a minor during a multi-agency online sting operation conducted in Flagstaff this spring, pleaded guilty to reduced charges in Coconino County Superior Court Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Wimberley, 47, was indicted on one count of child sex trafficking, a Class 2 felony. He eventually pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted luring of a minor for sexual exploitation, each a Class 4 felony. Copy article link Sign up for our newsletters
