KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — While most people are asleep, staff members at Casey’s gas stations stay busy across the country. In Knoxville, there are more than two dozen Casey’s locations, including one on the University of Tennessee campus .

I visited the Cumberland Avenue store to see what the third shift looks like.

“It’s kind of like a store that never sleeps,” center store manager Kimberly Hunley said.

Hunley works the overnight shift, staying busy from the moment she clocks in at 11 p.m. until she leaves at 7 a.m.

“It’s a very busy store," Hunley shared. "We are on a college campus, so the kids are always out."

Hunley says her team at the Cumberland Avenue Casey’s never runs out of gas, serving University of Tennessee students who come in throughout the day and night.
