JAMMU, NOVEMBER 15: Jammu Municipal Corporation has launched a comprehensive initiative to restore and revitalize the traditional water bodies under its jurisdiction. With ponds, wells and traditional water sources rapidly disappearing due to urbanization and increasing aridity, the Municipal Corporation is committed to conserving natural resources and raising public awareness about their importance.

Taking a major step towards the conservation of traditional water ponds, the Jammu Municipal Corporation continues to strengthen its efforts. Today, in Ward No. 75, Durgochak area of Sangrampur, MLA Surendra Kumar, along with Municipal Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav, laid the foundation stone for the conservation and complete restoration of a historic pond.
