The Bihar unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday (November 15, 2025) suspended former Union Minister R.K. Singh and two other leaders from the party for anti-party activities. The party asked them to submit a reply within a week. Soon, Mr. Singh resigned as a member of the party.
A show cause letter, issued by Arvind Sharma, in-charge of BJP State headquarters, said, “Your activities are against the party. This falls within the scope of discipline. The party has taken this seriously as it has caused harm to the party. Therefore, as directed, you are being suspended from the party and asked to explain why you should not be expelled. Please clarify your position within a week of receiving this letter.”
