HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A number of fire crews were called to fight flames at a home in Westmoreland County Saturday morning.
Officials were called to a fire at a home on Middletown Road just before 5 a.m. Firefighters with Hempfield Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 said their crews assisted with laddering the structure, forcing entry, and secondary searches. Advertisement
Youngwood Volunteer Fire Department said they were called around 5:04 a.m. to aid Fort Allen. Their crews assisted with ground operations and were cleared around 7:30 a.m.
It is unclear if anyone was inside the house at the time of the fire.
Pittsburgh's Action News 4 has reached out responding stations to learn more about what caused the flames.
