COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The thermometer may say 70 degrees, but it’s feeling like Christmas in downtown Colorado Springs!
The city is kicking off the holiday season Saturday with carolers, Christmas shopping, ice skating, and of course, a visit from Santa and a few of his friends!
The Downtown Holiday Stroll starts at 11 a.m. at Acacia Park and runs through 2 p.m. Here are a few of the highlights:
Acacia Park playground (11 a.m.-noon): Photos with Santa, the Grinch, Elsa and Anna, and Buddy the Elf. (Line up by 11:45 a.m. before the character stroll begins.)
Character Stroll (noon-2 p.m.): Along North Tejon Street (Boulder-Kiowa) and East Bijou Street (Nevada-Cascade).
