BOISE, Idaho — Two Boise streets will be temporarily closed Saturday evening to allow the community to honor Mora Gerety, an 8-year-old killed in a pedestrian crash earlier this week.

A public candlelight vigil will be held at 7 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison Boulevard and Ada Street.

"Our hearts are with the entire community as we come together to grieve this tragic loss. We thank the Boise Police Department for their continued efforts and support during this difficult time," Ada County Highway District stated.

According to Ada County Highway District (ACHD), the Boise Police Department will close Harrison Boulevard between Resseguie Street and Sherman Street, and W. Ada Street between 15th Street and 17th Street, from 4-9 p.m. on Saturday. ACHD stated that a break in the closu
