Shillong, Nov 15: The Cooperation Department held the opening ceremony of the 72nd All India Cooperative Week in collaboration with the Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank and the Meghalaya Livelihoods and Access to Markets Project under the Meghalaya Basin Management Agency today.

The celebration is being observed under the theme, ‘Cooperatives as vehicles for Atmanirbhar Bharat’.

Speaking at the event, Cooperation Minister Methodious Dkhar said that Cooperative Week reflects the government’s commitment to acknowledging the contribution of cooperative societies in the state and across the country.
