Evan Royster remains at No. 1 on Penn State’s all-time rushing list.
But with three regular-season games left, Kaytron Allen can catch Royster, who played at PSU from 2007 through 2010.
Allen’s backfield mate, Nick Singleton, made a significant move on the Lions’ top 10 list after his 71-yard rushing day in Penn State’s 27-24 loss to Indiana last Saturday in State College.
Allen, who ran for 48 yards against the Hoosiers, has amassed 3,613 yards. He is third place on the all-time rushing list.
Penn State (3-6, 0-6) plays at Michigan State (3-6, 0-6) later today.
After that, the Lions host Nebraska on Nov. 22 and play at Rutgers on Nov. 29.
Allen is 231 yards away from passing Saquon Barkley (3,843) to move into the No. 2 spot.
