The area of high pressure will remain overhead for most of the upcoming week with little to no rain in sight. In fact, this will only enhance our rainfall deficits across the area.

The latest drought report shows that a large portion of our area is in a moderate to severe drought.

With little to no rain in the forecast through next week, this will likely expand.
