A 34-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly threatening youths in North York on multiple occasions while on the TTC – threats investigators believe were motivated by hate.
Toronto Police say officers first responded to a harassment call in the area of Bathurst St. and Sheppard Ave. W. on Sept. 15.
“It was reported that three youth victims were on a TTC bus in the area,” police say.
A woman who was on the buss allegedly “engaged” with the youths and “made harassing comments” to them.
At the time, police were looking for a suspect described as a female with blond hair who was wearing a beanie hat.
Then on Oct. 31, police received a call for an alleged hate crime also in the area of Bathurst St. and Sheppard Ave. W.
