OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A woman who grew up in Omaha remains in critical condition at a Colorado hospital after being shot in a road rage incident on Nov. 11, according to authorities and her father.

Kassi Moy, 38, suffered a gunshot wound to the head near Morrison, Colorado, in what her father, Dennis Moy, described to First Alert 6 as a “road rage attack.”

She received emergency surgery and will need extensive care and rehabilitation in the future, he said.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and KKTV , Matthew Impellitteri, 56, was arrested at his home not far from where the alleged shooting occurred.

He was booked into jail facing charges of criminal attempt of 1st-degree murder after deliberation and criminal attempt 1st-degree murder with extreme indifference.
