COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - As is customary after a Texas A&M victory, like Saturday’s 31-30 third-ranked Aggie win over South Carolina, Aggie DJ Mike fires up “The Road Goes on Forever” by former student Robert Earl Keen.
At halftime of the contest, it looked like the road was about to dead end and the hosts were cleaning up the last of the discarded red Solo cups.
The Aggies completed a 27-point comeback by scoring 28 second-half points to down the Gamecocks and extend its undefeated season to 10 games. It surpassed A&M’s 21-point comeback in the 2013 Chick-fil-a Bowl — former quarterback Johnny Manziel’s last college game — for the largest comeback in program history.
