A woman was killed and several other people were injured when strong winds tore through a holiday campsite in Portugal.
Aerials from the site in Albufeira, in the Algarve region, showed widespread destruction, with holiday homes and caravans torn into pieces.
Reports in British media suggested that the deceased victim was an 85-year-old from the U.K.
According to the Civil Protection, locals as well as nationals from the U.K., Spain, and France were among the injured in the wider Albufeira area.
The freak weather incident came as Storm Claudia moved across mainland Portugal, causing widespread damage and flooding.
