Brits have been told to brace for freezing temperatures by the Met Office, as Storm Claudia moves down south and brings icy and snowy conditions with temperatures as low as -7 degrees C
The Met Office has told Brits to brace for freezing weather as an Arctic blast makes its way across the UK.
As Storm Claudia hits the UK, causing havoc in the likes of Wales, it is set to disrupt more people as it gradually moves south, meaning temperatures as low as -7 degrees C are expected to hit.
The weather forecaster's deputy chief meteorologist Dan Holley explained: "As Storm Claudia retreats to the south, high pressure to the north west will drive a cold northerly flow from the Arctic across the UK. This will bring much colder conditions than of late and, whilst generally drier than recent
