STODDARD COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - Wreaths Across America will conduct a ceremony to honor veterans at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery on December 13, at 11 a.m.
The ceremony is designed to remember and honor the veterans interred at the cemetery in Bloomfield.
Officials will read aloud the name of every veteran buried at the cemetery, and then wreaths will be placed on as many graves as possible.
As of November 15, fundraising has provided wreaths for 1,868 graves. That’s a little more than half of the goal.
Volunteers are still needed for the ceremony, as well.
