MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Bikes for Kids celebrated the final day of their fall donation drive and hosted a special thank-you to all the volunteers that made it happen.

The organization received over 80 bikes in the last month, which will all be cleaned and fixed up in time to donate them in the spring.

Nearly 250 volunteers help the nonprofit year-round.

Bikes for Kids partners with public schools, nonprofits and other local organizations to distribute bikes through their giveaway program. The organization works to provide sustainable transportation to everyone.

“All of these bikes, they’re not just bikes, they come with stories,” said Kristie Goforth, executive director of Bikes for Kids.
