Kyle Moore-Brown is building a professional indoor football team starting from scratch. After an open tryout Saturday at Tingley Coliseum, he felt he was off to a good start.
"We saw great things," Moore-Brown said. "I mean, great talent here in New Mexico. That's why we hosted it here, is to make sure that we tap into the talent level that New Mexico has."
With just two players to go for a full roster and some players already signing contracts, Moore-Brown found the sort of players he wanted for the brand-new New Mexico Chupacabras. (The chupacabra is a mythical, dog-like beast with vampiric tendencies.).
