TruAlt Bioenergy announced that the company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh government to set up a sustainable aviation fuel plant.

In an exchange filing issued on Saturday, November 15, the Bengaluru-based company said the company has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) for the establishment of a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production plant in Andhra Pradesh.

APEDB is the Government of Andhra Pradesh’s nodal agency for promoting investments, enabling ease of doing business in the Southern state.

This particular plant SAF is a biofuel produced from renewable feedstocks such as agricultur
