Penn State’s Kaytron Allen had himself a day in the Nittany Lions’ 28-10 Big Ten victory over Michigan State on Saturday in East Lansing.
A career day.
Allen, PSU’s fourth-year back, ran for a career-high 181 yards and two touchdowns as the Lions (4-6, 1-6) snapped a six-game losing streak and claimed the Land Grant Trophy.
His big game leaves Allen well within range of one of the most notable records in Penn State program history.
The all-time rushing mark.
Evan Royster, who played at PSU from 2007 through 2010, is the leader with 3,932 yards.
Lions all-time great Saquon Barkley is in second place with 3,843 yards.
Allen is right on their heels with two games left in Penn State’s regular season. 44
