An updated tornado warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 10:31 p.m. in effect until 10:45 p.m. for Greene and Washington counties.
"At 10:31 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Waynesburg, moving east at 45 mph," states the weather service. "Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely."
Be aware that the tornado may impact the following locations:
Jefferson Boro around 10:40 p.m.
Fairdale around 10:45 p.m.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Clarksville, Amity, Deemston, Carmichaels, Rices Landing, Marianna, Centerville, and Nemacolin.
