MARION COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - A 40-year-old man was arrested after a standoff on Thursday night in Scotts Mills, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday.

Just after 10 p.m. on Thursday, deputies were sent to a home near 2nd Street and C Street to arrest a man wanted on multiple driving charges, identified as Darren Lake.

When they arrived, MCSO said Lake refused to come out and surrender to officers.

After several hours, tachilcla police units forced their way into the house and took Lake into custody.

MCSO did not release any details about the arrest, but did say Lake was “treated” at a hospital before being lodged at the Marion County Jail. No information has been released about what sort of injuries Lake was treated for, or if he was hurt during the arrest.
