PELHAM, N.H. —

In just 24 hours, Pelham police responded to five separate crashes. Now they are asking drivers to slow down and be safe.

Mammoth Road in Pelham is a fairly busy stretch of roadway, and officials said that of five motor vehicle crashes, four of them happened along this road. In one of those accidents, a teenager was killed.

“Our officers have responded to more crashes than usual in the last 24 hours,” said Lt. Matthew Keenliside of the Pelham Police Department. “Definitely an uptick.”

Five crashes in 24 hours, and most of them happened on Mammoth Road.
