LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Brian Keller was emotional on Saturday after taking off the coaching headset for the final time. Keller finished his 30th year as Head Coach of Nebraska Wesleyan which will be his last.
The long-time Prairie Wolves leader announced his retirement ahead of their final game. Keller is a NWU grad and spent the majority of his coaching career within the program.
“It was kind of a dream of mine to coach here. I was fortunate enough to play here for four years, was an assistant for 3 years, and coached for 30,” Brian Keller said after his final game.
In Keller’s final game, Nebraska Wesleyan fell to Simpson College 23-22.
