Bhubaneswar: The iconic Baladevjew Temple in Kendrapara is set for a major revamp under the Parikrama project, with an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore. Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan on Sunday said that while the Detailed Project Report (DPR) is still being finalised, work on the temple and its surroundings is expected to commence within the current financial year.
The famous Baladevjew Temple, renowned for its rich heritage and religious significance, attracts thousands of devotees of Lord Jagannath every year. The state government has emphasised the importance of preserving the temple’s traditions while modernising its infrastructure to enhance the experience for pilgrims and tourists alike.
