COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in east Columbus, according to a public safety dispatcher.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to Tussing Road and Americana Parkway, south of Interstate 70, around 2:20 a.m. on a report of a crash.

Police said an adult was driving a 2011 Jeep Wrangler eastbound on Tussing at Americana Parkway, when at the same time, a 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 was traveling westbound at the same location.

The Jeep drove left of center and hit the Mercedes-Benz, which caused the Jeep to roll over as it continued eastbound, partially ejecting the adult driver.
