A warning has been issued to Lloyds, Santander and Halifax customers who are banking with the banking giants in November. Major banks including Lloyds and Halifax are set to shut 24 branches in November.

Banks and building societies have closed 6,443 branches since January 2015 equating to 53 closures every month, according to to consumer champion Which?.

This works out to an average of around 53 branches per month since January 2015. In November, Lloyds Bank will axe 17 more branches. Lloyds Banking Group will also shut two Bank of Scotland branches will close their doors for good, as well as three Halifax branches, as of next month.
