People on Personal Independence Payment have been issued a major update from the Department for Work and Pensions, or DWP , over changes to the mobility element.
Rachael Maskell, an Independent MP for York Central, reached out in the Commons "to ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what steps he is taking with the Chancellor of the Exchequer to co-produce policy changes to mobility allowances."
Sir Stephen Timms, a Labour Party MP for East Ham, spoke out in response in the Commons. The Labour MP said: The PIP mobility element is in scope of the Timms Review, which aims to ensure PIP is fair and fit for the future.
