Carnival Cruise Line is stepping up to support Jamaica’s recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa.
In addition to donating goods and funds to the island country , the company is scheduling visits to ports that are already able to welcome guests back.
“As we live our everyday lives, it’s easy to forget what happened in the past. That’s part of life, but we must not forget what Melissa did to Jamaica,” Heald said in an update.
Considered one of the strongest hurricanes ever recorded in the region, the storm made landfall in Jamaica on Oct. 28, 2025, causing a significant impact in the country’s infrastructure and communities.
