Two-day cultural spectacle draws global artists, boosts tourism, and cements Meghalaya’s standing in India’s concert economy

The Shillong Cherry Blossom Music & Arts Festival 2025 concluded with spectacular energy, reaffirming Meghalaya’s rise as one of India’s leading concert destinations.

Over two packed days, the festival drew thousands to the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and cultural hotspots across the city, showcasing a rare blend of global headliners, homegrown talent, and immersive cultural experiences.

Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated the festival, calling it a “complete cultural package” that reflects the State’s vision for tourism and creative industry growth.
