Kaytron Allen’s effort vs. Michigan State on Saturday in East Lansing? Not bad.
We are kidding.
Penn State’s running back was exceptional in PSU’s 28-10 victory. Allen, given the necessary workload, has been the Nittany Lions’ best player during his final season.
His career-high game vs. Michigan State – 181 yards – gives Allen 917 yards for the season and 3,794 for his career.
Allen is 139 yards away from becoming the Lions’ all-time rushing leader.
Allen has 39 career rushing touchdowns -- 12 this season -- and 40 career touchdowns.
Kaytron became the first Penn State player to run for 180 or more yards since Journey Brown romped through the Memphis defense for 202 yards in the 2019 Cotton Bowl.
