BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Area Schools Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, in the district office board room.

The board is set to review a purchase offer for Central Elementary School, which closed as a cost-saving measure for the district in 2021.

Red Lake Nation initially purchased the building in November 2023, but subsequently withdrew its offer in April 2024 for undisclosed reasons.

The board once again declared the property as surplus at the April meeting.

The board will also meet in a work session at 5 p.m. to discuss the human resources director position, legislative priorities and student representatives. No action will be taken at the work session.
