Agartala, 16 th November 2025: With the onset of winter and the rise in seasonal ailments like fever, cold, and cough, Tripura is now facing an added threat a growing outbreak of dengue.
After cases were first reported in Unakoti, fresh dengue infections have now been detected in Agartala and Jirania, alarming both residents and health authorities.
According to sources, multiple wards across Agartala city, along with several suburban and remote areas of the state, are witnessing an increase in dengue cases. In the past two weeks alone, several patients have been identified in Agartala, including two from the Ramnagar area. Health officials have, however, promptly traced and treated these patients, leading to their recovery.
