LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Two women have been hospitalized following a shooting in Fern Creek, police say.

Louisville Metro Police were called to the 5100 block of Keegan Way around 1 a.m. Sunday on reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two women who had been shot.

Both women were taken to the hospital with injuries that police believe to be non-life-threatening.

Police believe the shooting may have been domestic violence-related and are investigating leads on possible suspects.

LMPD’s domestic violence unit will be investigating.
