(WPTA) - Complete food assistance has been restored for over half a million Hoosiers.
The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) announced Saturday that it would begin issuing SNAP benefits following the recent government shutdown .
According to the agency, eligible recipients can expect the funds to be available on their EBT cards starting Sunday, November 16.
The agency says this includes recipients whose regular issuance date has passed.
