Tuscarawas County, Ohio (WOIO) - For two years several families have taken each step and day to grieve.
Saturday the six families walked the track at Tusky Valley Schools to honor the six lives lost, having the support of the community with them.
“Devastating. Heartbreaking. Every emotion hits you like a ton of bricks every day. I don’t wish this upon anybody,” said Deanna Worrell.
For the first time on camera Worrell talked about her baby boy Jeffrey Worrell.
“His smile, his presence, his laughter he was an old soul,” said Deanna Worrell.
He and two other students, John Mosley and Katelyn Owens, along with three chaperones, Dave Kennat, Kristy Gaynor and Shannon Wigfield, lost their lives in this fiery crash back in 2023.
