The New York Knicks are going to be down another starter for their upcoming stretch.
OG Anunoby is going to be re-evaluated in two weeks due to a left hamstring strain, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Sunday.
Anunoby sustained the injury midway through the first quarter in the Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat on Friday. After missing a layup, he appeared to be grabbing at his hamstring, and following a timeout, he was subbed off and returned to the team’s locker room.
The 28-year-old has been a key contributor for the 8-4 Knicks, averaging 15.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.9 steals while playing 31.1 minutes a night.
