NEW ORLEANS —

New Orleans police are investigating an unclassified death that happened in the St. Roch neighborhood.

According to police, they received a call to a location in the 2300 block of Franklin Avenue just before 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Advertisement

When officers arrived at the scene, they found skeletal remains of unknown age, gender or race.

The coroner arrived at the scene and pronounced the remains.
