A neighbour dispute erupted in at a property in Bolton and a man was left with a stab wound in the early hours of Sunday morning (November 16).

Police and paramedics were called to the incident off Gloucester Avenue in Horwich, shortly after 5am. It was reported that there had been a stabbing at a property.

A man, aged 42, was first taken to hospital with a superficial stab wound injury to his leg. He was later discharged and arrested on suspicion of harassment, Greater Manchester Police said. The force's Professional Standards Directorate are now carrying out an assessment following previous police contact.
