Kris Boyd, Jets cornerback, shot outside NYC restaurant

Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was shot in the abdomen overnight during a reported dispute outside a Manhattan restaurant, law enforcement sources said.

The Jets player, 29, was shot outside Sei Less restaurant in midtown around 2 a.m. Sunday, the sources said.

Boyd was hit in the abdomen and the bullet was lodged in his lung, sources added. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.

Additional details about the reported fight and what led up to the shooting were not immediately known.
