After missing a number of gilt-edge scoring opportunities, Cole Perfetti finally opened the books in his fourth game of the season.
“I have had some chances so far this year, and missing some grade A’s, and had a couple chances in this game,” Perfetti said after a 4-3 shootout win against the Calgary Flames on Saturday evening. “And I was happy to contribute on the power play.”
The second-line winger was rewarded with a splash of good fortune to bag his opening marker.
